ABOUT | HILARY STEPHENS
Hilary is a practicing architectural designer and artist whose work sits at the intersection of space, light, and colour. Trained in architecture and shaped by a life spent travelling, she translates the energy of place; a city’s rhythm, a skyline’s palette, the weight of light in an unfamiliar room, into large-scale abstract works that command a space.
Her originals are mixed media works built in layers: print, ink, canvas, board, and resin converging into a single surface that holds depth, luminosity, and presence. Each piece is made to be remembered.
Hilza Studio works are made for considered collectors, spaces where art is chosen with the same intention as architecture.
Based in Melbourne, relocating to London 2026
